There is a bridge in downtown Austin where bats live. In the summer at dusk, roughly 1.5 million of them stream out in columns over the course of about 30 minutes. It is sort of a spectacle. A stinky spectacle. We went to see it before we left town. Norah loved it. We ran into some friends/co workers there that just moved to Austin – Stacy and Joe Doyle – and met their dog Molly.
