Nog+Chog

Ryan’s bday was this week and it was a record balmy 65 degrees. I thought that it would be great to make chili for his bday dinner, (since it’s been so damn cold this winter) and of course some cake from our favorite, The Swedish Bakery! We also had our best friends Eric and Susan over, to help us celebrate.

The last pic is a drawing that Norah made for Daddy for his bday! She is quite an artist for a 3 yr old. She tells us that she is a better artist than both mom and dad. I say kid….I hate to break it to ya, but you got it from your parents!

Norah asked for a pink kitchen with butterflies. She was thrilled, but a little disappointed that it wasn’t PINK with BUTTERFLIES. So Daddy drew some pink butterflies on the kitchen and she was happy as a clam!

Norah had a little sledding accident in DM with her cousin Tori.
That would explain the nice battle wound on her adorable little face.
We’ll post pix for that later, as we have video of the actual wipeout as well.

We visited Melinda’s grandmother, who
will be 99 yrs young this coming August!

Christmas was a lot more fun for Norah this year, as she was more into opening presents from everyone.

a little late, we know…

We took a little field trip up to our roof deck today. What a blast. Norah has been looking forward to making snow angels and playing in the snow for weeks. She was so excited today.

I got to go to Norah’s ballet class today! It was great.
