There has been a lot of sleeping on our couch lately…

Norah is nursing her own baby these days (with attitude). She seems to live by the old adage that Ted Nugent taught her: “Life is short. Kick maximum ass!”

Grandmothers have been over…

Mom and Charles are doing well

And this is the one thing that I swore I would never do – plop my kid in front of the TV. Sometimes it’s the only way that we can get a word in.

More pics from the last few days. Melinda and I started sleeping in overlapping shifts which seems to work out well. Miss Norah is a great big sister and wants to help us with everything.

Charles is a really mellow baby compared to when Norah was his age. He rarely cries and when he does it pretty brief and usually involves a diaper change or feeding. He also prefers to have his hands free (instead of packed in a swaddle like his sister did) and he doesn’t like going without a diaper.

He had his first checkup at the Dr.’s office yesterday. Everything is going great and he’s happy and healthy.
